Most of my life I have been into action sports, growing up always skateboarding, some surfing, snowboarding and then taking up a bit of wakeboarding. Skateboarding was and is my passion and even now in my mid-thirties I try to skate once a week (usually twice a month).
Over the last ten years of my adult life things have progressively gotten more busy; family life, work life and the rest taking the majority there is a small remainder for Dave time. Over the last 14 years I have been growing and developing my branding and marketing agency. It has been a lot of fun at times however, it has also been very stressful as well.
That is were Jamo and JamCore Personal Training came into play, starting in ’06 I knew I wasn’t going to be able to do the sports I love and get the fitness I needed. So I entered the gym for the first time and didn’t have a clue where to start. Within a few weeks I was losing motivation and getting no real results with the “Dave Carlson” workout routine. I randomly ran across Jamo and JamCore Personal Training, liked what I read and saw and basically gave it a chance and got to work. I now had a basis to maximize the amount of time I spent at the gym.
My next issue was I still didn’t have much time in life and needed to get in the office early almost everyday. So long story short, I stated working with Jamo and the team to improve my health and fitness while in the office. As a JamCore training partner I will be contributing to the blog to help other busy people like me find creative ways to fit health and fitness into a busy lifestyle, lower stress, eat better, and basically look at ways to utilize JamCore Personal Training for a better life.
